Hello, my name is Stifyn Parri and I am the Managing Director of MR PRODUCER, a creative company based in Cardiff. Over the years I have been lucky enough to perform and an actor and singer in West End shows, I am a TV and radio presenter, and have produced some of Wales most prestigious events. I am also a mentor and coach for entrepreneurial and performance skills and I am absolutely thrilled to be making this course for Careercake – Boosting your confidence, public speaking and performance.
Lack of Confidence is something that everyone has to deal with, so it’s not just you!
Believe it or not everyone will have a lack of confidence in some area or another. I have one client for example, who although she is in her 80s has no qualms of skydiving whatsoever, however she has lacked confidence in public speaking in the past.
I personally have had to build confidence in many different ways, throughout my career as an actor, singer, presenter and producer, and although people around me would automatically think that Stifyn Parri is 100% confident in everything. Wrong! We are all the same.
Over the years I’ve helped many people with confidence issues cope and succeed in presentations, interviews, public speaking, singing competitions, live TV and radio, and during this course I’m going to help you:
Identify the expectations of those around you.
Use tried and tested techniques to help increase your confidence.
Define ways to use your nerves as a positive rather than a negative.
So, let’s crack on and let’s crack these confidence issues.

Stifyn’s enthusiasm for his subject is infectious and inspiring. He delivers in a straight forward way that is knowledgeable, funny and down to earth. After attending his seminars, I felt so much more better prepared for future presentations of my own. Speaking to others who have also been lucky enough to hear Stifyn’s pitching tips, I know they have felt similarly enthused and their confidence boosted.

Stifyn has a real talent for inspiring people. This course is full of great tips and I personally got a lot from it. Others that have done it also said the same. Especially useful if you need tips on presenting, selling or going for an interview!

My name is Morgan Rhys Taylor and I am a 16 year old 6 form student . I'm not sure what I want to do with my life ,I have never had an interview ,and have only delivered a short presentation as a student ,which I must say was quite poor . I lack motivation and I am a little self conscious. Having watched the video I have definitely taken a few very important tips from Stifyn Parri. I relate to the walk of death ( I've done it ) I can also relate to the tone of my voice ( using the three voices really showed me how I shouldn't speak when in an interview or presentation .) Engaging with my audience is so important and being clear and honest will help out people at ease I realise now this is so important. Practice . Practice practice something I know is so important too. I would like to thank you for sharing this with me and it has made me feel a lot more able to achieve good things .

Exactly what I needed. Having always had trouble with public speaking this helped me overcome my fear to deliver the pitch of my life. As an overthinker and engineer, hearing the problem explained from a world class public speaker in bitesize easy to understand video clips was much easier than the pile of public speaking books on my desk.
