I’m Aimee Bateman, founder and CEO of Careercake.com and in this course we are going to talk about video and Skype interviews.
Now they are becoming more popular. With the enhancement of technology and the ease of use, recruitment teams are widely using video interviews as part of their selection process.
It’s a no brainer as to why? It saves time, so that saves money and a video interview often gives you more insight into that person than just a phone call can.
There are different types. So you have a 2-way interview. That’s where you see and engage with the interviewer. This is usually conducted via a platform such as Skype or FaceTime
And then you have recorded interviews, so these are one way, the recruiter will use video interviewing software, you’ll log onto a platform, record your answers and submit and these are also becoming more and more popular.

In this course, I’m going to give you tips to do exactly that.
