“Talia has played a huge part in my career progression. She helped me identify my goals and in two years I’ve gone from employee to building a successful freelance career. Her frank and understanding approach to coaching takes the fear out of all things financial and I’m much savvier as a result.”
As a journalist and writer with 13 years’ experience, Talia has worked for some of the biggest news organisations and brands, including the BBC, Admiral Insurance Group and moneysavingexpert.com, specialising in consumer affairs.
As a qualified life coach, Talia supports individuals in identifying and achieving their personal and professional goals, of which money plays an integral part.
As a financial education consultant for The Money Charity, Talia delivers workshops to 11-19-year-olds in schools and colleges, helping pupils build good money management skills and knowledge.
Talia made the leap from employment to freelance journalist and writer in 2015 and soon became the go-to person helping friends navigate their career crises. Realising this was a fulfilling line of work, and that there was a wealth of - at best restless; at worst anxious and unhappy - late twenty- and thirty-somethings pondering their next career move yet feeling trapped by financial commitments, Talia developed a coaching practice.
Talia believes that getting on top of your finances is key to making informed personal and professional life decisions that come from a place of knowledge rather than fear.
Talia holds her qualification in coaching and mentoring skills from the Institute of Leadership and Management. Talia is furthering her coaching practice by studying psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Talia is a journalism alumna of the University of Westminster, London.
